I am all about celebrating – an excuse to use the real glasses and maybe bake bring home a cake, sounds like the makings for a Best Day Ever. But I am going to be honest with you, Mother’s Day 2015 … I was tired. Seriously tired. And as much as I wanted to play all day with my awesome family, I really wanted to take a nap. A really long nap. Lucky for me, the daddy in the house gave me the thumbs up on the idea and I didn’t look back as I sprinted to catch those sweet ZZZ’s.

AHH-MAZE-ING.

When I came down the steps from the best gift I could have ever imagined – I found a fresh batch of groceries in the kitchen, food cooking on the stove, the dishwasher being loaded and the most perfect look on my 7 year old’s face … clearly expressing her concern with what was happening while I was MIA.

It was a mess – It was beautiful – It was a Best Day Ever.
